This Game's Story focuses on Batman as he drives in his Batmobile to rescue his allies Jim Gordon and Robin from the joined villain alliance of Poison Ivy, Riddler, Joker, Harley Quinn, and Clayface! Kevin Conroy, Loren Lester, Bob Hastings, Ron Perlman, Diane Pershing, John Glover, Arleen Sorkin, Mark Hamill, Adrienne Barbeau, John Vernon and Robert Costanzo all reprised their roles from the animated series.īecause this game did not have to follow censorship guidelines like the show, the fight scenes are a bit more violent and brutal than on the show. The animated segments were directed by Bruce Timm who is credited as developing the story with Paul Dini, while Paul received sole writers credit. The animated segments were developed by Tokyo Movie Shinsha, which also did some of the episodes of the original cartoon. Between levels, the story advances through animated scenes that were created specifically for the game. The SEGA CD version consists of Batmobile chase screens.
